13.646 at 100.794 MPH!

We made it to Clay City yesterday around 5pm and I got home right around 1am. Kevin (AKA John Force) got to float the Trans Am through about 8 times before the rain hit. I was sick as a dog the whole day with this summer cold and still am today. That was plenty enough to get a rough idea what the car would do stock so I have something to compare to when I put all my stuff on next week. I said when he first ran at a 13.870 that the car had a 13.6 in it and sure enough it did, Kevin and I both knew it did and was not stopping until we got it. I even got to ride along with him in it and film a few times. I will get the videos up just as soon as Dusti get’s a USB cable for her camera and we get them pulled off of it. We raced 8 runs and won 7 and only lost to an 11 second Camaro. I could not let myself drive because I seen how happy it made my brother and I just wanted him to race every time. He kept saying “This is the best thing in the world”. This was a big day for me in allot of ways, I was told by several people that I would never get a car like this and to just forget about it but here I am racing it at a track now! The smell of the racing fuel and burnt tires and the atmosphere brought back good memories for me. I tried to get a few pictures but could not really get any good ones of the car due to the barricades in front of the track, only can see the top of it. I thought this was interesting, HERE is a site that has the 1/4 mile times from hundreds of exotic and factory cars, I was surprised myself at what some of the Ferrari's, Lamborghini’s and Porsche’s ran! I am actually in a close run with some! I will post the videos hopefully soon! Here are the track times and pictures from the day!
